Lady Patricia S. Stith

First Lady of WOLCI

As First Lady of Word of Life Church, International, First Lady Stith (affectionally known as Lady Pat) is a strong supporter of the Senior Pastor, Elder Al M. Stith, Sr. and prays daily for his continual spiritual development and anointment as Senior Pastor and Shepherd of the souls of Word of Life’s members. She serves as overseer, as well as teacher, of the Children’s Ministry (ages 4-11). This ministry teaches the children about the Word of God on a spiritual and natural level through demonstrations, arts, and crafts. Lady Pat is also Director of Creative Expressions, Word of Life’s Arts Ministry, a ministry that worships the Lord through plays, miming, dances, and Powerpoint presentations. She actively participates in the praise and worship service as a member of Word of Life’s Praise Ensemble.

Born Patricia Marie Stewart in Louisa County, Virginia, to Mamie Iretha Willis Stewart and the late John G. Stewart, Sr., Lady Pat attended the Zelda Carter Morton Elementary School, the Archie Richardson High School, and later transferred (10th grade) to the Louisa County High School where she graduated as a member on the National Honor Society. As a child growing up in Louisa, Virginia, she was a member of First Bible Way Church, Louisa, and was saved at an early age. She was an active member in the church–sang on the choir, taught Vacation Bible School, and performed in church plays. Lady Pat graduated from Northern Virginia Community College with an A.A. in Social Science.

While attending Antioch Church of Christ, she met Al M. Stith, and they were later married in June 1984. They have five living children (a son who is now with the Lord) and three grandchildren.

Prior to becoming First Lady of Word of Life Church, International, she was First Lady of Community Church, Dumfries, Virginia, and First Lady of Manassas Bible Way Church, Manassas, Virginia. At both of these locations, she served as Praise and Worship Leader and also served faithfully as the Directress of the Arts Ministry at the Community Church. She also attended Antioch Church of Christ where she was an active member. In 1986, she left Antioch Church and joined Cornerstone Church of Christ where Pastor Stith assisted in the ministry development. At Cornerstone, she was a member of the choir, taught Sunday school, and was president of the Youth Department.

Lady Pat enjoys serving the Lord, the loving community environment at Word of Life Church, and helping wherever she is needed. She enjoys photography; sewing; drama ministry (wrote and presented a play titled “It’s Almost Midnight”); celebrating holidays with family and love ones; and enjoys law (maybe one day pursue a degree in Domestic Law). She is also the author of several poems — all written for special occasions or for a main purpose.

At the present time, she serves as the Administrative Support Specialist in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Personnel and Readiness, Military Personnel Policy, an office responsible for recruiting, retention, compensation, travel and related human resource management for 1.4 million Active Duty military members of the U.S. Armed Services.
